He describes the HSBC Student Bursary as his stepping stone into the filming industry and plans on using the money to complete his full length feature film 'The Shinobi Code'.

After her mother suffered a stroke last year, Charlotte was inspired by the care and treatment of the staff at Southampton Hospital and left her full-time job to return to university and fulfill her dream.

Carey, one of our 2011 Student Bursary winners is studying for a Masters in Fashion at Saint Martins. She tells us how she got into fashion and hopes the MA will give her the confidence to make it as a designer. Carey will use some of the prize money to support her through university, but will use the majority to develop her own design prints and garments.
