The HSBC Savings Map of Britain provides an up to the minute picture of Britain's savings and reveals the disparity in savings habits and intentions between genders, generations and regions.

This is the second year of the study. All the research has been carried out by Opinion Matters, among a UK representative sample of 2002 people over the age of 16, between 26th November and 9th December 2011.
